When Addiction Drives the Bus, the Whole Family Goes Along for the Ride

This article was published today in a Texas community newspaper. It's a great summary of the plight of children growing up in alcoholic homes, and I love the bus analogy - how true, everybody goes along for the ride. Nobody gets out of a moving vehicle unscathed. There's mention in here of the disappearance of Alateen meetings. The same is true for ACoA meetings, there are fewer now than in the 80s and early 90s. I think a lot of us have gone online.
